Visiting Hungary for dental treatment 

Visiting Hungary for routine or cosmetic dentistry may seem tedious and time-consuming. There is a general assumption that considerably lower dental fees signify inferior dental standards.

The reality is contrary to this. Indeed both England, Ireland and Germany have one of the highest dental costs in Europe. Taking a holiday and attending to your dental health and/or Dental aesthetics simultaneously, makes a lot of sense. Taking time to examine these actual costs, makes even more sense!

For example:

A patient attending their dentist may need ten crowns for aesthetic purposes. During or before surgery, it is determined that two Root Canal Treatments are also required for this procedure. The final cost will be approximately €10,500 in Ireland. The above approximate 'domestic cost' is arrived at via: €950 ... per crown approximately. €1,000 ... for Root Canal Treatments approximately.

Procedure

If you are considering a trip to Hungary:

1. Contact us by phone, email or by the contact form.

2. Obtaining a dental assessment and treatment plan before visiting Hungary

There are two ways in which you can do this:

1. X-rays or dental assessment from your local dentist. If your normal dentist has advised that you need costly dental treatment and you have access to (preferably) panoramic x-rays, our clinic will email these images to our Clinic together with any assessment you may receive from your local dentist. They assist in oral assessment and consequent dental costing. We subsequently contact you with the Hungarian dental assessment/report.

2. Macro-photography of your teeth and gumsWhere you cannot obtain x-rays or a dental assessment, Kialydent Dental Center can arrange for professional macro photography of your teeth and gums. This cost-effective service is available in your home or our office by appointment. These highly detailed multi-angle photographs and other information are emailed to our clinic where they assist in oral assessment and consequent dental costing. We subsequently contact you with the Hungarian dental assessment/report. Do contact us for further details as photographic costs vary according to your location. (€50 - €60 approximately)

3. Booking

We organize everything for you, including flights, accommodation and transfers.

Arrival in Hungary

1. You will be greeted at Budapest Airport by our transfer driver with your name card clearly visible.
2. The driver then drives you to your Hotel which is within walking distance of the Clinic.
3. The day of arrival or the following morning, a member of Clinic meets you in your hotel at the pre-arranged time and brings you to the Clinic for the first dental consultation.
4. Obviously Kiraly Dental Center maintain full contact with you throughout your stay.
5. Even with the most complex dental procedures you will still have plenty time between appointments to enjoy your holiday.
6. When your dental treatment is finished, you may settle payment in EUR,GBP or Credit card.
7. Your written guarantee is then given to you.
8. The transfer driver will drive you back to Budapest Airport.
